EECU believes your privacy is our top priority. This is our pledge to you and
we want you to understand what information we collect and how we use it.
EECU values the trust and confidence you have placed in us as your financial
institution. We will demonstrate and maintain an unwavering commitment to protect
each member's privacy. This notice describes the privacy policy and practices
followed by EECU and each of the affiliated companies of EECU; these companies
include, but are not limited to, Investment Services Group, LLC, which provides
investments, insurance and brokerage services; TRI Leasing, LLC, which provides
leases, and Mortgage Solutions LLC, which provides mortgage loan originations
and servicing. This notice describes how we protect the privacy of your personal
information.
EECU maintains strong security controls to ensure that the nonpublic personal
information in our files and computers is protected. We restrict members' privacy
by restricting access to personal and account information to those employees
who need to know the information to provide products or services or may be responsible
to maintain information security practices. We also maintain physical, electronic,
and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard all members'
non-public personal information. Non-public personal information is information
about you not known publicly that we obtain in connection with providing a financial
product or service to you. For example, this includes your account balance and
history, loan information and credit history.
In order to offer services suited to your needs, we may collect non-public
personal information about you from several sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others;
and
- Information we receive from a consumer-reporting agency.
We may disclose all of the information that we collect, as described above.
We may disclose nonpublic personal information about you that
we collect as described above to the following types of third
parties:
- Financial service providers, such as securities broker-dealers and insurance
agents to administer products and services we provide or as permitted by law.
- Companies that perform marketing or other services on our behalf or to other
financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.
- Companies requesting verification of the existence and conditions of accounts.
We follow standard banking industry practices and applicable laws, and we
limit the information we provide to what is necessary to accurately represent
your relationship with us.
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our members to
anyone except as permitted by law. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal
information about our former members to anyone, except as permitted by law.
EECU does not disclose or sell member information to telemarketing companies.
EECU may enter into other strategic alliances with financial service companies
in the future to improve our ability to offer competitive products and
services to our members. Any future alliance that includes sharing personal
information will follow the privacy practices described in this notice.
